Mercure Santiago Centro
Conveniently located, helpful staff, room and amenities were as described. Our room had a nice view overlooking the library and Santa Lucia Hill. However, our key cards malfunctioned frequently, and this seemed to be a common problem for other guests as well.

Departamentos Amoblados Torre Tagle
There was NO HEAT! It was -2 outside and we were freezing. We had two mini portable heaters and both didn’t work. There was no hot water. The hairdryer was broken. There was no communication beforehand and check-in was a nightmare.

There were no towels "in the contract" so I had to pay 400 pesos per towel. The VAT proved not to be included and I had to pay extra. The electronic room-key didn't work from the first morning.
